Prepare government identification and recent income records. Depending on your situation, that may include employment letters, pay statements, tax returns, or offer letters.

Assets and housing history

Have recent bank statements, landlord references, and prior addresses available. Redact account numbers when they are not necessary.

Guarantor planning

If you may need a guarantor, discuss eligibility and documents early. Institutional guarantor services have separate terms and fees.
